God is Love, we all know what John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Hallalujah! Praise God that he so loved me and you even when we were yet sinners, a bunch of rebellious and self-centered people disobeying our God, the Bible says For
God so loved, not just loved us but so loved. Now let's break down this one scripture together, asking God to give to each of us a greater understanding, Amen!
Loved meaning unconditional love, love
by choice and by an act of will. Remember
it was God who gave to US First. God is our role model for giving and recieving.
1.) God so loved meaning God's motivation for giving was love, ours must be, too.
2.) God gave meaning God's love was turned into an act of giving.
3.) God gave His only begotten son; God gave to us His very Best! So we must give our very best, Amen!
4.) God gave for a specific reason and that was to get man back from Satan. God's deepest desire is to have man restored to Himself. And to get that need met, He gave.
5.) God gave sacrifically meaning our salvation cost Jesus His life, it also costs us full repentance and the giving of our lives to God.
Don't you just Love and Adore our God. God is Love! Without God we have no love to give others, and without love we don't have God in our lives.
The Pharisees and Sadducees got together
and one of the lawyers asked Jesus which is the greatest commandment in the law? Jesus said to him "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it you shall love your neighbor as yourself."
God Is Love! Love never fails, which means God never fails. If God so loved us and Jesus came and died for all our sins and rose again on the third day so that so that we can have a relationship and eternal life with God. Surely each of us as believer's in Jesus Christ can yield daily to the Holy Spirit and allow him to manifest Jesus in and through our lives daily all to the glory of our God.
